Our fleet of custom built transporters are designed to carry virtually any vehicle - from mopeds to combine harvesters and everything in between.
Our Head Office is based at our 50+ acre site in Wombourne, being centrally located means that we can cover the entire country and the continent with ease and bringing everything back to one large site makes logistics and urgent access easier for insurance engineers, previous owners, our customers and for us.
We have several inspection bays, meeting rooms and on-site qualified engineers available. Our Sites have 24 hour Surveillance on and off site with the latest available technology.
About our founder
Hewitt International was founded in 1946 by John Hewitt when he returned from World War 2.
After finishing his two regular jobs each day he would work on cars at night. When his car business became successful enough he turned to that full time and the company - John Hewitt & Sons (Garages) Ltd. as it now is was born. Now, over 60 years later, trading as Hewitt International Salvage Management, the company has a fleet of over 45 modern recovery vehicles and over 60 staff.
